Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
In short
Palma keeps your habits on your phone. We have no user accounts, your habits are not synced to any server and we do not sell information to anyone. The only things that leave your device are what you choose to send us from the support form and, to manage PalmaPro, an anonymous identifier and the purchase data that RevenueCat processes.

Who we are
Palma – Habit Tracker ("Palma", "the app") is an independent habit-tracking product. This policy explains what information the app handles and what we do with it.
For any matter related to your privacy you can write to us at Palma@palmasupport.com, or use the support form inside the app.
What information Palma handles
The app works with the information you create while using it:
- Your habits: name, category, icon, color, type, goal, unit, frequency and streak goal.
- Your daily log: which days you completed each habit and by how much, plus the streak freezes you use.
- Your preferences: the name you want us to greet you by, the theme, the start of the week, the time format, whether we highlight today and your reminder settings.
Where it is stored: on your device
All of the above is stored exclusively in your device's local storage: a SQLite database for habits and history, and the system preferences storage for settings.
Palma does not send your habits, your history or your statistics to any server. Palma holds no copy of that information, so we cannot look it up, recover it or restore it.
Keep the practical consequence in mind: if you uninstall the app or clear its data, that information is gone. If your operating system backs up the device (for example, Android backup), those backups are managed by your operating system under its own terms, not by Palma.
What Palma does NOT collect today
As of today, and verifiably in how the app works:
- There are no user accounts: we do not ask for your email, phone number or password, and there is no sign-up or sign-in.
- We do not use usage analytics or behavior-tracking tools.
- We do not use advertising identifiers or show ads.
- We do not access your location, contacts, photos or microphone.
- There is no profiling and no automated decision-making about you.
Notifications and reminders
Palma's reminders are local notifications: your own device schedules them at the time you set. They do not go through any server, we do not use push notifications and no device identifier is associated with them.
To show them, the app needs the operating system's notification permission. You can grant or revoke it at any time from your device settings; without it, the app keeps working, but you will not see the reminders.
When you write to us from the support form
Palma includes a support form ("Report a problem", "Suggest a feature" and "Contact support"). Apart from the purchase management described in "Purchases and subscriptions", it is the only feature that sends information off your device, and it only runs when you tap Send.
When you do, we transmit over an encrypted connection (HTTPS):
- The type of message (problem, suggestion or inquiry).
- The title and description you wrote. Only you decide what that text contains: please do not include sensitive data that is not needed to help you.
- If you leave the "Include device info" box checked, a technical block with five items: device model, operating system, system version, Palma version and build number. The app shows you that exact line before sending it.
How your support message travels
The message is sent to our own service hosted on Cloudflare Workers, which acts solely as an intermediary: it validates the content, applies anti-abuse limits and forwards it by email to Palma@palmasupport.com. That intermediary does not keep a database of messages; the infrastructure's technical logs (for example, the IP address of the request) are kept by the provider for short periods and for security and abuse prevention.
If you uncheck the device info box, that block is not sent: it does not travel blank or empty, it simply is not part of the message.
The app never opens your email app, Gmail, a browser or any other external app to send your message.
The support form does not send your habits, your history or your statistics. Ever.
Use of the support email
We use Palma@palmasupport.com exclusively to read your message, reply to you if needed and fix or improve the app based on what you tell us.
We do not use that address to send you advertising or newsletters, and we do not share its contents with third parties unrelated to handling your inquiry. The email service that hosts it processes the messages on our behalf in order to deliver them.
If you write to that address directly from your own email, we will also receive your sender address, because that is inherent to how email works.
Purchases and subscriptions (PalmaPro)
PalmaPro is the paid version of Palma. Purchases are processed by the store you installed the app from: Google (Play Store) or Apple (App Store), depending on your platform.
Palma does not see, receive or store your card number or any other payment data: that process happens entirely within the store, which acts as the controller of its own processing and applies its own privacy policy.
To validate and manage subscriptions, the app uses RevenueCat, an external provider. Because Palma has no user accounts, RevenueCat does not receive your name or your email: it identifies your installation with an anonymous identifier that the app itself generates.
RevenueCat receives that anonymous identifier and the purchase data (the plan, the price, the currency and the receipt the store issues), plus the technical data inherent to any connection, such as the IP address and the app and system versions. Every time you open Palma, the app uses that identifier to check whether you have PalmaPro active, even if you have never bought anything.
RevenueCat processes that information on our behalf and under its own privacy policy. We do not send it your habits, your history or any other content from the app.
Analytics and crash reports: they do not exist
Palma has no usage analytics and no automatic crash reports ("crash reporting"). No provider is connected, nothing is collected and nothing is sent. If the app fails, we do not find out unless you tell us from the support form.
We say this so plainly because it is common to find the opposite statement in a policy written "just in case". This one describes the app you have installed, not the one that might exist later.
If we ever turn on any of those tools, or any other service that involves processing information about you, we will update this policy before doing so and reflect it in the last-updated date.
The app stores
Downloading, installing, updating and, where applicable, buying Palma go through Google Play or the App Store depending on your platform. Those stores collect their own information (for example, about the download, the crashes the operating system reports to them or the aggregated statistics they offer the developer) under their own policies, over which Palma has no control.
The aggregated, anonymous information the store makes available to the developer does not identify you and is not combined with anything inside the app, because there is nothing inside the app to combine it with.
Security
The information that stays on your device is protected by the operating system's own mechanisms: each app keeps its data in a private area that other apps cannot access. Keeping your device updated and locked is the most effective protection for that information.
Support messages always travel encrypted over HTTPS. The app refuses to send a message if the destination is not a secure connection.
The app does not include email credentials or any other secret in its code. The only key it contains is the RevenueCat SDK public key, which is designed to ship inside apps. Authorization and abuse-protection mechanisms live on the server, not on the phone.
No system is infallible. If we detect a security incident that affects you, we will inform you through the means available to us and with the diligence the applicable law requires.
How long information is kept
- Your habits, your history and your preferences: on your device, until you delete them or uninstall the app. Palma does not keep them anywhere else.
- Support messages: kept in the support inbox for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and to follow up on a recurring problem. They are deleted afterwards.
- The sending intermediary's technical logs: short periods defined by the infrastructure provider, for security purposes.
- The anonymous identifier and the purchase data: kept by RevenueCat under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
Over the information on your device, your control is direct and complete: you can edit or delete any habit and any entry from the app itself, and you can erase everything by uninstalling Palma or clearing its data from the system settings. You do not need our permission or to wait for a reply, because nothing of ours is involved.
Over the information that does reach us — that is, the support messages you send — you can ask us to access, correct or delete it by writing to Palma@palmasupport.com. We will handle the request within a reasonable time.
Depending on the country where you live, the applicable law may grant you additional rights over your personal data. Nothing in this policy is meant to limit those rights.
Minors
Palma is a general-use habit-tracking app and is not specifically aimed at minors, nor does it knowingly collect information about them. Because the app asks for no identifying data, we cannot know the age of whoever uses it.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor in your care has sent us personal information through the support form, write to us at Palma@palmasupport.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
Palma will keep evolving, and this policy will evolve with it. When we change it, we will change the last-updated date shown at the top of the document, and the current version will always be the one you can read here, inside the app.
If a change means processing information in a way substantially different from what is described here — for example, turning on analytics or crash reports — we will announce it inside the app before it takes effect.
Contact
For any question, request or complaint about this policy you can write to us at Palma@palmasupport.com or use the app's support form, under Settings › Contact support.
